Stryk ("we", "our", "us") is an AI-powered boxing training app. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the Stryk mobile application.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information: When you sign in with Apple, we receive your Apple ID, email address (or a private relay address if you choose to hide your email), and display name.

Profile & Body Metrics: You may optionally provide weight, height, age, and gender to personalize your training and nutrition recommendations. This information is considered health-related data and is treated with additional care.

Training Data: Your boxing training session results, scores, fighter rating history, and analysis feedback are stored in our backend to track your progress over time.

Boxing Videos: When you use the video analysis feature, your recorded boxing rounds are uploaded temporarily for AI analysis. Videos are processed and not retained long-term on our servers.

2. How We Use Your Information

To analyze your boxing technique using AI and generate performance scores
To track your progress and fighter rating over time
To personalize nutrition plans based on your body metrics
To manage your account and subscription

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate Stryk:

Google Gemini: Your boxing videos are sent to Google's Gemini AI for technique analysis. Google's privacy policy applies to this processing. Videos are sent solely for analysis purposes and are not used for advertising.
Supabase: Our backend infrastructure provider. Stores your account data, training history, and analysis results securely.
RevenueCat: Manages Stryk Pro subscriptions and purchase validation. Receives only the data necessary to manage your subscription status.
Apple Sign-In: Used for authentication. We receive only the information you choose to share during sign-in.

4. Local-Only Data

Some data is stored only on your device and is never sent to our servers:

Combo mastery progress
Rating history cache
Earned badges and achievements
Weekly training schedule preferences

This data may be lost if you uninstall the app or switch devices.

5. AI Video Analysis

When you record or upload a boxing round for analysis, the video is sent to Google Gemini for AI-powered technique evaluation. You provide explicit consent for this within the app before each analysis. The AI evaluates your boxing form and returns scores and feedback — the video itself is not stored permanently by Stryk or used for any purpose beyond generating your analysis.

6. Advertising & Tracking

Stryk does not contain any advertising SDKs, tracking pixels, or analytics frameworks that share your data with advertisers. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

7. Data Retention & Deletion

Your account data and training history are retained as long as your account is active. You may delete your account at any time from within the app, which will permanently remove your personal data from our servers. Local-only data (see Section 4) can be cleared by uninstalling the app.

8. Children's Privacy

Stryk is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can delete it.

9. Security

We use industry-standard security measures, including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) and secure authentication, to protect your data. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated policy within the app or on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
